Business Propositions Manager
A vacancy has arisen for a Business Propositions Manager working within Commercial & Marketing and reporting to HoD Business.
The role holder will be responsible for managing Plusnet business propositions across all channels.? Responsibilities include, in-life product management and evolution including financial / market analysis, writing requirement documents and managing the delivery of new services working with cross functional teams and acting as the main business sponsor throughout the development process.
The role holder will also work with Head of Marketing to manage marketing activities designed to promote Plusnet?s products and services and to achieve target volumes.
Additional responsibilities include: creating commercial KPIs and in-life product revenue and margin analysis, assisting Sales Manager and Head of Business on bespoke commercial opportunities, liaising with other cross functional departments (products, consumer propositions) to consider the impact of wider product / proposition developments on Plusnet Business portfolio and assist with developing commercial relationships with BT Group, primarily BT Business.? The role holder will represent Plusnet Business team on all industry regulatory and compliance issues as well as adhering to BT Group policies on commercial governance.
Key Skills Required:
Typically degree and post graduate qualification in a related subject, eg, Business or Marketing.
Excellent commercial acumen.
Experience of completing business cases including assessing NPV impacts etc.
Strong influencing, negotiating and communication skills.? The ability to negotiate top level targets.
Familiarity with cost stack analysis.
Strategic background preferred.
Experience of proposition development in telecoms or financial services industry.
Ability to work closely with Development Teams and be able to make business rules related judgments.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Strong project management ability.
Ability to work independently and also effectively as part of a team.
A Marketing/Communications qualification is desirable, but not essential.
