2012 Dad Games - The Fathering Project

The National Fatherhood Initiative is holding a competition entitled ?the Dad Games of 2012?, featuring weekly challenges to encourage Dads in their relationships with their children and spouse. There are many prizes to be won for taking part in the competition, including?Dove? Men+Care? skin care products and Gillette fusion shaving products.

Dads take part in the games by completing 7 items each week around the home that help the family. Here are some examples:

• Take your child on a special outing this week
• Spend 30 minutes being active outside together
• Have a family game night this week
• Give Mum some alone time this week
• Do one extra household task this week to help Mum
• Say something positive to or about Mum in front of the children
