Iran begins military exercises aimed at defending nuclear sites | End ...

Iran has announced that they are holding new military exercises focusing on defending their nuclear sites from a possible future attack, which is looking increasingly likely especially with the March 5 meeting between Obama and Netanyahu at the White House, which is just the latest in a long string of high-level meetings between American and Israeli officials.

They announced that they have deployed warplanes and missiles along with anti-aircraft artillery systems, all part of a new effort to secure their nuclear sites from a potential Israeli attack, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Of course such an attack would almost certainly involve the United States as well and very likely Britain and France given that they already have warships in the region.

This latest Iranian military exercise has been called ?Sarollah,? meaning ?God?s vengeance.?

In a statement, the Iranian military said that it was also aimed at increasing the coordination between the main military and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

?These maneuvers aim to reinforce the coordination between the military and the Revolutionary Guards for a total coverage of the country?s sensitive facilities, especially nuclear sites,? the military stated.

This exercise ? which appears to be relatively large in scale, although the exact size is unclear ? makes it very clear that Iran is taking the threat posed by the West very seriously and thus is preparing for a military confrontation.

While Iran said that they stopped selling all oil to Britain and France in response to the European Union?s sanctions, France has already responded in just about the most childish manner possible.

?We decided to stop our orders,? said French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said. ?Our deliveries from Iran are pretty marginal in relation to our total purchases. I repeat that it is the EU that decided to put an embargo on Iranian oil sales.?

This reminds me of a schoolyard argument in which two children are yelling at each other, ?No, I saw it first!?

The fact is, the EU?s ban does not come into full effect until July and until then EU nations are allowed to continue to receive Iranian oil under previously established contracts.

The Iranian move to preemptively cut off their exports to Britain and France indeed is cutting off their oil supply before they were planning for it, although I agree with Juppe in that it likely will do very little to cripple these nations.

According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the EU said ?it can cope with any halt in Iranian supplies.?

While this is true, I think it is worth pointing out that this will indeed likely raise the price of oil globally and hurt the already faltering global economy even further.

With a false flag in the United States looking even more likely with the repeated fear mongering coming from R. James Woolsey, James Clapper and Israel, it only makes sense that Iran is preparing to be hit with an attack from the West.
